Blocked drains

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 13:54, Tue 7 December 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Uncleared leaves and debris have blocked the drains adj to even numbered houses. The second photo is directly opposite near the communal bins and show the cause of this issue clearly. The water level of the flooding is now causing risk to those living in basement flats especially as more bad weather predicted.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

Posted by Bristol City Council at 13:54, Tue 7 December 2021

  • Addition rather than update. This issue has been caused by the large amounts of litter and leaves that I have reported on previously in your "request a street clean" and "report fly tipping" functions. If the requested street clean had been undertaken this may not have happened. This street is full of basement flats and flooding could be a major issue after the 12 hours of rain forecast tonight. The residents of Albany rd plead with you to help us look after our road better.
