Light shining into bedroom

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3206631.

The streetlight outside 7 Bellevue Terrace is so bright it shines into our bedroom at night making it difficult to sleep. It's been an issue for the two years we've lived here though may have been around longer. Is there any way of stopping it from shining back into our bedroom?
