Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

Posted by Bristol City Council at 21:20, Thursday 13 January 2022

  • A warning sign, cones and a diversion have been placed around the broken manhole cover, however the sign keeps falling down and the cones keep ending up in the wrong place and vehicles continue to drive over it. The noise is as bad as it has been for the past few weeks. Also last night revellers moved cones to the middle of the other lane causing further danger.

  • As you can see - sign facedown on road and cones not prevent us vehicles driving over offending manhole cover.

  • This is ridiculous - does the Council seriously believe that they have sorted this by putting up cones?
