Raised metal drain cover, dangerously uneven pavement
Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 15:14, Sun 23 January 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3260791.
The pavement from Ashley down lights past Horfield food store all the way upto Bobbys newsagents is uneven, has multiple trip hazards and broken paving and kerbstones. This has been the case for years but it is now impossible to walk along it without risking a trip, particularly at nighttime due to lack of illumination. I fell at 8pm last night after tripping on a raised metal drain cover near 393 Gloucester Road and I now have bruises on my legs , elbows and both hands and a deep cut on my left hand from my wedding rings impacting on a broken paving slab on the fall. Narrowly avoided breaking any bones, but an older person may not be so lucky.
