Bogus double yellow lines?

Reported via desktop in the Road Signage category anonymously at 14:06, Sat 29 January 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3275370.

Double yellow lines have recently painted at the junction of Channels Hill and Holmwood Gardens BS9. These now extend about thirty metres up Holmwood Gardens beyond their previous limit. They are much narrower than normal double yellow lines. Are they official or has someone taken it upon themselves to impose their own parking restrictions?
