Uneven pavement from Crow Lane Shops down to Aldi
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:13, Wed 2 February 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later
Following cable-laying work, the surface of the pavement has been badly patched. The surface was already cracked and uneven but the work crews have left it in an even worse condition, with lumpy raised areas of tarmac covering where they excavated to lay their cables. Also the paved area around Crow Lane Shops has been poorly reinstated, leaving loose paving stones and paving stones which tilt. It's a hazard for elderly and disabled people. Also, it's difficult for pushing wheelchairs and baby buggies on the uneven surface.

The condition of the pavement has worsened due to even more excavation and cable laying works by a company named Lila Connect. I saw their contractors at work today. More patches have been laid over the excavation, adding to the lumpiness of the surface.
