I have reported this same issue on numerous occasions over the years, it happens EVERY TIME it rains. It is an accident waiting to happen! It has been unblocked every time, but as advised by the council the issue is there is a wrong pot within the drain, so its not fit for purpose. This needs repairing before a serious accident occurs! I have CCTV on the area now and will reference all of my previous council complaints when it does. I have seen cars have to emergency brake when kids are in the road trying to go round the blocked drains on both sides. Both drains need repairing, this has been going on too long. Please don’t wait for a serious accident before this is done, I know previous council workers have highlighted this on at least 2 of the 3 drains.

  • Due to recent rainfall (1/2 weeks ago) the blockage is now bigger and taking up most of the road, causing more problems and danger to pedestrians. Not sure what needs investigating, as previous council workers have already stated the problem is on the notes, there’s is a collapsed pipe and incorrect pot for this drain, needs replacing. There is also an incorrect pot on the drain on the inside of the bend, but this only floods on severe rain.
