Street lamp light shining into bedroom on Whiteway Road

The lamp post next to Duchess Court on Whiteway Road shines into the bedroom and disrupts sleep. We have added blinds to the windows but it is so bright it hasn't helped. Please could a cover be put on/around the light so it is focused downwards as I feel this would help massively. This issue has been ongoing. Many thanks.

Thanks for the update however the light is not broken it is just too close to the building so the light shines into the bedroom. As a first step measure could a cover or guard be added to direct the light away from the building? Many thanks

Hello,
Please could you provide an update on this issue as it has been two months since the original issue was raised? Please appreciate that this issue is quite invasive on the residents and is causing sleep issues.
Many thanks.
