Planters obstructing footway

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 09:35, Sun 27 February 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

A restaurant has placed seating and planters on the shared use footway. This makes the route too narrow, particularly with cycle parking also on footway.

  • Planters are still here. This is a shared use path. Almost come off of my bike into moving traffic after narrowly avoiding pedestrians. Accident waiting to happen - potential for life to be lost should the worst happen and someone end up in the road with a HGV or any other vehicle passing. I've reverted to using the road now as unsafe for cyclists and pedestrians to share the space, barely 1m pavement remains.
