North Street/Merrywood Road pedestrian crossing dangerous

Reported via Android in the Zebra Crossing Light category anonymously at 19:38, Monday 28 February 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This pedestrian crossing is often missed by car drivers entering North Street from the roundabout by Cannon Street and Dean Lane. My four year old son and I were almost taken out this morning.

The Belisha beacons are almost invisible during daylight.

Today I saw a pedestrian crossing in Bath with bright yellow LEDs facing the traffic which were easily visible in daylight. Worth trying? It was something like this one: https://simmonsigns.co.uk/ new-improved-modustar-belisha-beacon/

I look forward to hearing from you.
