Ref: 3339628. Street Light on Wall above Hunter's Still Unlit
Reported via desktop in the Street Light category by Robin Beecroft at 03:51, Wednesday 2 March 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
Yesterday, you reported that this light had been fixed. It has not been fixed in any way whatsoever. It is still unlit. Closing a job when the problem has not been addressed while informing the public that there is no longer a problem is at best gross incompetence. It worst, it is a patronising lie, dismissing an under-resourced community as one that does not matter and will be resigned without doing anything. Whenever you make a public statement that a problem has been fixed when it has not, be sure our community will inform the Business Support Officer at the Council. Every time. I advise that when you inform our community that a job has been done that it has actually been done. I ask you with all due respect to stop misinforming us and to make all the four lights that are not working on this section of St Mark's Road a high priority as a way to compensate for the misinformation yesterday. The four lights that are unlit are above Bhogal's, Tenovus, Hunter's and Thali.
