Old Double Yellow Lines Showing through tarmac at junction of Whitby Road and Bloomfield Road
A few years previously, the Double Yellow lines at this junction where rolled back to allow more safe parking. This was done by painting/tarmac-ing over the old section and ‘T-capping’ the new end of the section. This cover has now rubbed off so that the old section is showing through and residents are starting to receive incorrect penalty notices for parking legally.
Although these have all been successfully fought, it is an unnecessary nuisance and admin burden. Please can the lines be properly amended to show the correct (shorter) double yellow zone.
