Flooding of pavement and properties
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 12:30, Thu 3 March 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
This has been ongoing for 4 years. Flooding now occurs with any rainfall event, not just heavy rain. Pedestrians have to walk out into the busy main road to navigate the floodwater. It poses a serious threat to public safety.

If I was to take a picture it would be identical to the picutre posted on 12 April. There has been no rain for weeks but the first shower and we have the same problem again. This has been going on for years and Bristol City Council appears to be incapable of solving the porblem.

We had the first rain for weeks yesterday afternoon. Within 2 hours the drain was overflowing back towards the front door of 172 Eastfield Rd. Though it will seep away and shower of rain will end up with the water and debris flowing towards the front door. If anybody from Bristol Council wish to visit the site they will find that if the flood has gone down the debris is approximately 9in down from grid. This drain needs to be cleared by a pressure washing as it has been in the past.
