Dirac Road Roadsign
Reported via desktop in the Road Signage category anonymously at 16:10, Thu 3 March 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
Dirac Road is a cul de sac, however the street signs at the entrance to Dirac Road are not visible enough to motorists who drive in to Dirac Road thinking it's a through road. This increases the traffic on Dirac Road, which is a problem for residents as there are a lot of families with small children and also, there is a playground.
Please remove the current signs and replace them with prominent signage, just as there is in a neighbouring road, Arthur Milton Street. (Please see attached photo). This is obviously more prominent than the tiny cul de sac logo on Dirac Road, also attached.
Failing that, can large signs be erected on either side of the entrance to Dirac Road along the lines of
CUL DE SAC - NO THROUGH ROAD - ACCESS ONLY
