Pot holes in the roundabout

Reported via Android in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 09:16, Sat 5 March 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3363746.

There are pot holes appearing in the mini roundabout again. This is particularly dangerous as people on bikes are likely to swerve to avoid them

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

  • I tried cycling from Cannon Street to Dean Lane on Sunday afternoon. The road is deteriorating . It's not been in great condtion for years. With the increase in traffic for the next two year this surface needs to be properly maintained. it is bumpy, rutted and uneven. It feels unsafe to cycle over easily and with many more cars needing to use this route they will be less patient with cyclists trying to negotiate the rough surface. It may be safe for cars but it doesn't feel safe for cyclists. It is not always practical to get in lane to cycle down East Street when traffic is busy.

  • I was cycling down north street and nearly fell off my bike taking the roundabout. The road surface is the worst I’ve seen in a long time.
