A Historic Redifussion abandoned cable with metal switch is hanging across House no 39 and 34 Heath Street BS5 6SN, which could break due to wind or gust etc. Cable is very rusty and week & could break due to wind and may fall on the road, is potential hazard to road users, BT engineer were called and they said its not their asset and advise to contact BCC. BT Open reach Engineer Miss Georgia provide his contact detail for Bristol city council to contact if required, her number is 07483457705. According to BT openreach its council responsibility to remove the abandoned cables. BT complaint Ref. SS1HBL18. Please look at this matter urgently to avoid any potential loss to general public and properties.

Both BT and BCC Road and street maintenance were unable to help. Therefore the cable has been safely removed by hiring a private building contractor. Therefore this request need to be closed.
