Bin and VOI obstruction in newly installed cycle lane

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There is a new path and cycle lane (most welcomed) here; however, the bin, which used to be out of the way is now an obstruction in the new cycle lane. The tarmac has been laid around the bin. Unless this is rectified soon it will be a permanent obstruction. If the bin is moved after this section would need to be re-laid with tarmac under the bin. Also, this is a VOI parking area right in the middle of the cycle path. This would have to be moved by VOI to a more reasonable, less obstructive location. What's the point in building a good cycling infrastructure then cluttering it with obstacles?
