Very deep pothole creates enormous bang when car wheel drops into it

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Very deep pothole on left side when driving away from Stoke Road. I guess it is at least 6" deep.

It's about 0.4 miles from Stoke Road and on the driving line. I didn't spot it at night and it created a huge bang when I hit it in my car.
