Loose and sunken slab

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 00:24, Wed 16 March 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This problem was reported to the council on the 21 November 2021. On the 24 February 2022 the council reported the item as repaired and closed the enquiry. the slab has clearly not been repaired. Can I suggest that in future the council post a photo of the repaired defect along with the closure of the enquiry notice.

The street lighting personal lifted this slab to repair the electrical cable to the lamp post in early November 2021. They re-layed the slab badly and did not mortar the joints just filled it with sand. Could it be arranged that they come back re-lay the slab correctly and mortar the joints. The slab is very loose and has now become sunken and a trip hazard.
