Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
I live in the new build houses and have done since June 2021. Each house has a private drive and there is additional parking around the corner on William jessop way. Unfortunately neighbours constantly have guests over who park over everyone's drive, not only blocking them off their own parking space, but causing the heavy traffic on a main road to become worse as the parked cars block the pavement and the footpath. This is especially bad around school pick up time as pushchairs often don't fit along the path and buses get stuck behind parked cars. I genuinely believe double yellow lines would benefit the community massively and help to keep school children safe. As well as making it safer for residents, being able to see oncoming traffic.
