No directional cover on street light, shining into No.40 at night

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Hi. Sorry to have to bother you. The street light across the road from 40 Selborne Road road has no shield on it. It shines brightly into our house and our neighbours, illuminating our bedroom at night. I have tried using a curtain rail closer to the window, and adding blackout backing to my curtains, but the light still disturbs our sleep. I'm pretty sure the old light had a directional cover on it. Would it be possible to fit a similar cover to this light please?
