Blocked Kitchen waste drain causing sewage back flow

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 13:15, Tue 29 March 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Yesterday noticed foul smell from kitchen drain which seemed to be full, dredged kitchen sump and put in Jeyes fliud. Today noticed effluent in drain which had spilled on to drive beside house, inspected neighbours sump and it seems to be backed up, so not allowing effluent to drain out on to main drain on Southmead Rd. This has been an ongoing but intermittent problem for the past 40 years as the drainage systed for the upper part of Woodchester Rd apparently flows UP to Southmead Rd main drain. The last incedent was aproximately 10 yr ago.
