Large manhole clattering loudly when vehicles drive over it

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3439980.

On carriageway on opposite side of the road to We The Curious, outside some Cathedral School buildings and the Voi parking spot. Really loud!

  • At midday today (12th April) a large lorry hit this manhole cover which made a very loud noise. As I rode past this cover on my motorcycle I noticed the cover has sunken to an extent that anyone hitting it unawares on a motorcycle/bicycle could be in serious trouble due to the drop. Now very dangerous!

  • Just swerved to avoid this sunken manhole cover. Very damaging to cars and dangerous to cyclists and motorcyclists.
