Uneven surface around drain cover tripping people
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 13:56, Sat 9 April 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3446811.
The drain covers on the pavement between the crossings, near Scribbler and Browns, are uneven and create a hidden step and have been tripping people over for at least a few weeks now. Today an elderly person fell all the way over and was injured. I work around here once a week and have witnessed people catch their feet on the 3 occasions I've been here. As the path is already sloped and leading to a busy road crossing, it seems people aren't looking at their feet and don't anticipate the lip.
