Re-reported direct to the Council - The Cast Iron kerb needs to be replaced with a proper concrete kerb as vehicles, especially lorries, are mounting the pavement.

Tarmac and gravel worn away, leaving 4inch deep on steep side, iimho a trip hazard . I don't share the original poster's opinion that replacing the cast edging with concrete will prevent lorries from cutting the corner however, but that the whole corner would suffer damage, kerb pavement and "gutter".
