New streetlight too bright

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There was not an option for this but new streetlight outside of my house is much too bright. It is outside my bedroom window and is giving off excessive light causing me sleep issues. I appreciate the street needs lighting but wondered if there is any way of providing some kind of back board to block the light shining into the nearby windows. I would appreciate any options being considered to help solve this issue.
