2 x 10 in pot holes on cycle path

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 09:19, Tuesday 26 April 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This morning I witnessed an accident on the cycle path - a young man came flying off and hit his head and was bleeding from hands and knees. He came off due to hitting one of the pot holes. Thank goodness he was wearing a helmet. These 2 "pot holes" have been on the cycle path for many weeks now. They are clearly man-made as they are perfect circles, so I expect the council is aware of them but nothing has been done. This could happen again and again unless they are fixed soon. The holes are on a corner too, which makes them trickier to see. They are on the corner before the little bridge, just before the exit to Greenbank.

  • I witnessed this accident too. I was directly behind the young man that came off. This needs dealing with soonest.
