Hole in pavement / broken drain opening / very dangerous

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There is hole In a drain slab opening which is in the pavement right next to spinney croft which is for over 55s so there will be mainly older people who will likely trip or catch their walking aids in! Needs to be attended to asap to avoid injury to anyone as very dangerous. Only saw this today.

  • Hi this hole is getting a lot worse and someone will seriously hurt themselves if they trip in it and Bristol city council will have a big compensation claim against them.this was first reported in may 2022 And it's disgusting that now September nothing still not done.needs very urgent attention

  • This drain cover has still not been fixed dispite it having been reported six months ago. I'm very concerned not just for the safety of people walking around it, as you have to go into the road on very dangerous bend in Riverside Lane where its impossible to see any cars coming toward you, I'm also concerned as today I something moving inside the hole. If this is a rat making a nest we will be overrun by them. There were rats at Spinney Coft earlier this year. Please can you fix it
