Speeding and high volumes of traffic rat running through the area

Reported via desktop in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 17:30, Thursday 5 May 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Mina Road is heavily impacted by cut through traffic wishing to travel up Ashley Hill or into town but unwilling to remain on the main roads such as Lower Ashley road or via Ikea roundabout. This needs to be addressed rather than a laissez faire approach. One option could be to create formal parking bays on Mina Road at the M32 end to reduce the flow and create more inconvenience, slow the traffic and improve safety for cyclists. We also need a protected cycle lane introduced. Or make the street one way, remove a lane and add a formal cycle lane.
