Issue with re tarmac works carried out on Tuesday, 19 April 2022
Reported via desktop in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 13:17, Fri 6 May 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
I am appalled at the quality of the workmanship and the type of material used by subcontractors you have employed. I List below:
1.Tarmac on brick pillar 2. Patches completely missed 3. Tarmac dust piled high and left (do they not carry dustpan and brush anymore?) 4. The appaling patched area between neighbour's pillar (No.8) and ours is where a tree had always been. The original was in situ for many many years but sadly died. The tree stump was left, eventually a replacement planted. Unfortunately next day Virgin Media installed wiring at No.8 and disturbed the tree; it never thrived. High winds eventually ripped out the dead tree and the broke the metal caging. If you check your records you will find the date, as I contacted the Parks Department. I requested a replacement tree but was told I would have to pay! However, it was mentioned when next big project carried out nearby, a tree may become available..... still waiting 5. The rough uneven finish

The workmanship around b7 area is a right mess. There are weeds still in the pavements and there is a clothes hanger stuck in the path and tarmac covered over it. We pay our council tax and a lot of people around this area own property and we expect to have a more better job done than this shoddy work. I think some one should come to expect it.
