Missing diversion signs

Reported via mobile in the Road Signage category anonymously at 21:06, Mon 16 May 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The diversion signs are missing that explain the Dean lane has no access to coronation road and to follow the diversion up Catherine mead street past Asda to coronation Rd.

There have already been a number of cars doing u-turns and having to double back on themselves via small and inappropriate routes.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

  • Missing diversion signs due to the closure of the top of Dean Lane. This morning diversion signs were in place diverting traffic down Catherine Mead street onto coronation rd. The closure of the top of Dean lane is still in place and, our understand is, that this closure will be in place for the long term. The diversion signs need to be reinstated asap to stop confused drivers attempting to use very small side streets in an attempt to access Coronation Rd.
