Inadequate response to long existing issue

Previously complained about the cracked, dangerous and unkept pavement. We had 2 slabs put it infront of our property and then the top of the road had a much more thorough job of digging up and piecing back together more of the slabs.

We have now had fresh tarmac on the surround main road, top and bottom of our road. This is in spite of being told no works to this degree were planned and that the slabs are the ‘best solution’ within current budgets.

Very disappointed that this couldn’t have been done down the entire side of the road, particularly when this is a hazard and has caused falls to elderly neighbours and making life with toddlers for us and our direct neighbour extremely difficult.

I will be persistent with this issue and continuously report, with full backing of the streets residents, until we feel this has been dealt with adequately and safely.
