Disintegrating road surface

Along the length of Alfred Place the road surface is disintegrating. These are more than just pot holes it’s long stretches of the road with a very uneven and broken surface with loose stones. It’s a danger to all road users (particularly cyclists) and includes the resident parking spaces along the street which risk damaging parked cars.

  • This hasn’t been resolved despite the Council reporting that it was closed and “no further action required”. On that basis, I have reported it again because the whole road is in desperate need of being repaired and resurfaced, especially as neighbouring roads that were not as bad have been recently resurfaced.
