Inconsistent road signage and turning

Reported via mobile in the Road Signage category anonymously at 15:09, Wed 8 June 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Inconsistent road signage and turning. Submitting again as the last request did not receive an adequate reply.

At this traffic light controlled junction the turn permissions are inconsistent. Northbound traffic can turn left but not turn right, westbound traffic cannot turn left or right, eastbound traffic can turn left and right, southbound traffic can turn right but not left. Despite this many motorists ignore all of the signs and turn where they want to go anyway causing a hazard for other road users or pedestrians. There is room here to include turn lanes for the most popular routes or provision should be physically made to prevent people turning where they should not be doing so.
