Brambles and overgrown shrubs weeds from Wilmot park again blocking the pathway to 470 Bishport avenue.

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 16:29, Wed 8 June 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This is an ongoing problem. Since railings were installed at the top of Wilmot Park the shrubs and brambles that have grown are not maintained and continue to spread blocking the path. I have family with mobility issues who cannot gain access because of this.

  • Thank you for cutting back the brambles and overgrowth. Shame you didn't clear all the cuttings and none of the overgrowth on Willmot Park has been touched so within weeks the problem will be back.

  • A team of five arrived today. looked at the problem for about 20 minutes and then just trimmed the overhanging brambles. Threw the cuttings on top of the overgrowth on the other side of the railings and left. What is left is an eyesore and really needs dealing with as it has been an ongoing problem for years.
