Ivy overgrown from council property

Reported via mobile anonymously at 13:34, Thu 9 June 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This issue has been previously reported and ignored. The council erected a fence along side my boundary wall 34 eastridge drive and that of coneygree sheltered housing on eastridge drive, leaving a 30cm gap between the two and along its entire length. An ivy plant has taken over in the gap on the outside of my boundary wall on council property. This has now caused damage to my wall and this will need repair as predicted in the previous complaint. This will come at significant cost. The councIl has a duty of care for its properties and this lack of care is potentially going to cause a wall of a third party home owner to collapse! Do you think it is acceptable to write off the issue with no regard for health and safety, no communication with me the home owner or any attempt to rectify a situation that is entirely Bristol city council’s responsibility, as the issue has arisen from the councils poorly executed plans.
