Unfinished roads, missing markings, missing double yellows, dangerous parking.

Reported via iOS in the Roads category anonymously at 08:01, Thu 16 June 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Since the building works we’re finished here the road has not been remediated. Parking is a mess as double yellows have not been replace. There are raised iron works. Pavements with huge holes. And a school near by putting children’s lives at risk having to navigate the area.

  • Since the new appartments have been built the road marking etc have yet to be completed leading people parking on the corners and on exciting yellow lines This makes it very difficult to cross over safely especially with a child. Also this afternoon we whiteness a car collide with a push bike I’m guessing due to the car parked on the corner limiting the view on traffic let alone people With our local primary school just up the road I worry about this happening to a child

  • Still an issue and getting worse every week. Today a pedestrian nearly got flattened by a car that couldn’t see them whilst trying to navigate around illegally parked cars and raised iron works.

  • Update - Streetworks have still not been completed here. I was almost sideswiped by a car earlier today when trying to cross the road here, whilst also having to navigate the cars parked bumper to bumper on the street corners. Crossing here is an absolute chaotic and dangerous nightmare.

  • Bristol council, are you waiting for someone to die before you deal with this situation? School kids are being forced to walk down the middle of a busy road due to unfinished pavements and illegal parking. Fix it before someone dies due to your ignoring of this and other reports.
