Pothe on corner of manhole , gloucester rd

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3604116.

Outside the Post office ( opposite Radnor rd )on Gloucester rd ,the tarmac is crumbling away from the manhole cover .The hole is deep enough to bring a cyclist off their bike if they go over it .

  • This problem is now over a month old. It is dangerous. I nearly came off my bike today. If there’s an accident here I guess BCC might be liable for compensation or having legal action taken against it.

  • This pothole is very hazardous for cyclists. The defect is quite narrow and could easily entrap front wheel of a bike. Extra danger from busy traffic. Recommend urgent repair

  • Why has it taken nearly 2 months for BCC to action this report ? I reported the hole on June 17 - nearly 2 months ago . Clearly BCCs idea of safety is different to ours .
