Melted new road - Kennington avenue

Reported via mobile in the Roads category anonymously at 15:45, Fri 17 June 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The road is totally melting and my shoe stuck to the road when I crossed it…I then had to put my foot down causing me to have tar left on my foot. I have now got a ruined shoe, tar which I cannot get off the bottom of my foot and a terrible and dangerous road surface outside my house

  • The road surface on Kennington Avenue is a disgrace. Despite the so-called repairs it is now melting and crumbling in many places all along the road. There is tar on the pavements where vehicles have parked on them and a large vehicle has cut across the pavement at the junction with Ashley Down Road leaving melted tar tracks on the pavement. This road is a busy route for cars and pedestrians and it needs to properly sorted ASAP not just with a quick-fix. So far it has been a complete waste of public finances.
