Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The dark areas on the photos are now plain metal. This makes the bridge, very, very slippery when wet. This is not a problem today, BUT we cycle over this bridge everyday on the way to school and in the wet it is like ice. My son (age 9) has come off his bike twice on this section. We need to continue to cycle to school everyday, throughout the year, especially when the new congestion zone is in place so this needs to be fixed before the weather changes again. I have been meaning to report this since winter, but it is just getting worse. Thank you.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

  • This still has not been fixed. School starts again on Monday and many children cycle over this bridge. The first frost is coming soon and it is really dangerous. We need to continue cycling through the winter as our car does is one of the many that will incur a cost to enter the zone. This needs repair urgently.
