Safety Hazard - Confusing road markings - poorly maintained stop line
Reported via desktop in the Road signage category anonymously at 13:43, Sun 26 June 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
The stop line for this junction (enforced by a camera) is not maintained. It would not be rated >10 according to the CS126 road maintenance guide (i.e. a critical defect) There are several other road markings that make this stop line even harder to see. This is a matter of public safety as it is very difficult to know where to stop for a red light. I have previously reported this and was told the issue had been fixed. As of yesterday it hasn't been fixed

This issue has still not been resolved and now I (and no doubt the person in the other vehicle) have had to pay a penalty fine. The markings are clearly not visible at road level and so constitute a danger to road users and pedestrians alike. If you look on Google earth these markings have been like this for at least a couple of years.
