Overgrown Hawthorn tree

Reported via desktop in the Low tree branches category anonymously at 21:11, Thursday 30 June 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

I am making a request for permission to cut trees on Council Land.

I have asked a reputable arborist to cut trees my land including parts of two Council trees that overhang my land - a cherry and a hawthorn. To retain the shape of the trees I would like to request permission to cut the crown of each tree back by 1.5m -2m i.e including part of the tree on council land. The arborist will work to British Standard BS3998-2010.

If this proposal is acceptable I would be grateful if you could contact me to confirm.

  • I would be grateful if you could confirm that you are happy for my tree contractor to cut back the tree on council land in additional to cutting back the parts of the tree on private land. Thanks
