Complete excavation of pavement
Reported via desktop in the Pavements category by Anthony Press at 15:31, Fri 1 July 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
A "builder" (though I hesitate to describe this as work carried out by any reputable builder) has completely removed a section of pavement. I presume the council has given permission for this work, but surely not to be left in a complete unsafe state as this is. Where is the adherence to safety requirements for any work on a public footpath?

Work has now been completed. It appears the original problem was caused by a "cowboy builder" who took money, did part of the work and never finished it.
