Large root from tree lifting paving slabs outside number 41 Reedley Road

Reported via desktop in the Growth from base of tree category anonymously at 20:17, Mon 4 July 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The main root from the tree is above the surface and is lifting the paving slabs , originally 1 metre from tree base but now at least 3 metres from base. Two/three paving slabs have come loose and are dangerous particularly as it is the route for children on their way to Elmlea School. From the last photo you can see that the tree is leaning towards our house. This has been a problem for a few years now but it is getting much worse. The council repaired 1 slab a couple of years ago but as the root has grown it is now spread and is impacting on other slabs.
