Parking in the turning bay.

Reported via desktop in the Abandoned vehicle in park/open space category anonymously at 17:34, Wednesday 6 July 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

For the last few weeks some people have been some sort of work in the park on Dalrymple Rd. The problem is that they park in the turning bay and stay there all day. There is often two vehicles parked there (see above) and one time i got there and there was only one vehicle but it was parked diagonally so that it took up both spaces. This has been going on for weeks now. It doesn't look like they have St Pauls parking permits either so why are they always there?

  • I've just come home once again and they are still there. Everyone is having to reverse out onto the main road as they can't turn in the turning bay. As you can see these are not work vehicles so why are they there everyday in a turning bay. I asked why they were always there and I was told that they live their and to be more respectfull. I was confronted by three of them arguing that what they are doing is ok as "they have cleaned up the park". These people have no respect for anyone living here and I have lived in this road for over twenty years. I'm disgusted.
