Grass has not been cut in months
Reported via mobile in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 19:25, Thu 7 July 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3659340.
Grass has grown so long you can’t walk dogs there without fear of tics and kids can’t play there safely any more. An area used by many to walk looks a mess. The area is the top of the hill and the path that runs down the back of the houses in Hill End Drive

There are so many ticks in this grass now it is unsafe to use. Children used to play here regularly but now it's unusable. If the council want to allow grass and wildflowers for the wildlife, they could at least mow paths through it for the best of both worlds.

Given the terrible fires of last week which resulted in many houses being burned down in other parts of the country it is surprising such long dry grass is being left to grow against wooden fencing. Can the council please respond to advise if the grass will be cut back? It’s school holidays now and the kids can’t play in their nearest Green area, dogs can’t walk through the area safely. Please do something about this.
