Large Lime tree fronting numbers 10 and 12 North Devon Road Fishponds Bristol BS16 2EU has produced such a mass of epicormic growth that it now fully obstructs the pedestrian walkway beneath it. The extent of the growth from the floor to the top of the trunk, approx. 4 metres and around the girth of the trunk is in excess of a metre. The obstruction forces pedestrians to walk in the road to avoid saturation in wet weather and aggravation of respiratory problems in conditions when tree pollen count is high, while passage for chair bound disabled persons and Mums with prams, push chairs and shopping trolleys is also completely denied and necessitating passing the tree in the carriageway. I am therefor requesting that the growth is removed and cleared from the area as a matter of some urgency before a RTA occurs with subsequent injury or worse, loss of life. With thanks - R. G. Clark (Property owner 12 North Devon Road)
