Double yellow lines missing, Barton Hill Road
Reported via mobile in the Roads category anonymously at 15:05, Tue 12 July 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
When the stretch of Barton Hill Road from the junction with Queen Ann Road to the junction with Ducie Road was resurfaced, the double yellow lines and other road markings were not reinstated. As a result this has now caused numerous parking, traffic bottlenecking, and pedestrian crossing issues. The attached photo shows some of the issues - cars pavement parking, the tactile pedestrian crossing being blocked, and the road becoming bottlenecked as a result of traffic parking on both sides of the road. I request that the North side of the road that runs alongside Barton Green have double yellow lines reinstated, as well as markings placed in front of the tactile crossing (with maybe some bollards too) to prevent vehicles from parking over the crossing.
