3643666 so an 125mm uneven surface is NOT URGENT

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category by Colin Wheatley at 21:47, Thu 14 July 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3677565.

"3643666 - As this issue is not urgent we'll deal with it as part of a future planned work scheme in this area. "

I cannot believe what I read. A 125mm disturbance that is damaging my wife's car every time she drives on and off the highway, and could easily injure a pedestrian. Whoever has deemed this as NON-URGENT, when it is a health and safety hazard, obviously hasn't had all the training. This latest damage was caused BY YOUR CONTRACTORS who decided to park a 48 tonne vehicle the pavement when resurfacing the road, when the WHOLE ROAD WAS CLEAR. Delays to repairs of this damage caused by YOUR CONTRACTORS is totally unacceptable.

  • I keep receiving emails to state that this has been passed to a new department, several times, but this is still a DANGER to the elderly or infirm walking on an uneven surface. Someone has been up to mark up the drive about 2 months ago and was to only person that made any sense, and he came out of retirement. Glad to know someone knows what the problem is, which was a poorly implement original works by a Council Contractor. The latest request has just been closed. 3488118 When you gets fixed is anyone's guess.
