Missing road sign since last October

3104686. Why has this report been FIXED when road sign has NOT. been put back. I am fed up with Bristol City Council and the way they lie. My husband and I have been constantly on this problem since the car went through the fence at the top of the street and demolished the road sign. Council workers have been out and marked the pavement for the new sign but as yet nothing and we know because we live in the street. How can the Council say the sign is fixed, maybe they have had an invoice which has been ok’d by some pen pusher or maybe the sign has been put on another road. When is our road sign going to be actually fixed, I want to know as I’ve lived in this city for 77 years and I have never known such ineptitude. Yes the road is being dug upon Southmead road for the new bus stop but that is not what I’m complaining about. Where is our new road sign as it’s been over 9 months since the accident. How long does Bristol City Council need to replace it? My husband was told over a week ago that it was fixed and it wasn’t then and it’s not now. Only when someone inspects the area can they say it’s fixed but it’s not. FIX IT..

  • Still no Road sign!!! Where is it? 10 months ago this happened. The Council are really dragging their feet.
